Let's(go to .../meet at...)和对方商量到什么地方去,提出一个意见,为了征得对方同意,可以用这个
句式。Let's ...的前面往往加Then 或Well。
b) 确定见面的地点和时间
Where will I meet you?
At my place/At the station/etc.
What time?
One o'clock/Three o'clock/etc.
注意:
*问句和答句往往不用完整句;

*商量具体安排时常用will ,但在此以前不常用will。在澳大利亚,提问时一般用will I ,很少用shall I。
CONVERSATIONAL DEVICES
a) I'm afraid.
I'm afraid I'm afraid tied up on Sunday.
I'm tied up on Sunday,I'm afraid.
I'm afraid在这里没有“我害怕”的意思,只是比较客气地说明自己对某事感到遗憾,抱歉。这个短语
在会话时常用。
b) Well 有两种用法:
1)使说话的人有时考虑如何回答,相当与汉语里的“恩”“恩-”(参看Dialogue 1,Anne 的最后一句话。)
注意:
oh well ...的意思同(11) ,但通常有对目前情况认可,表示愿意接受的含意。

RRONUNCIATION CORENER
a)注意两种说法的区别:
I'd like 表示在特定的场合下我要什么东西,而I like 表示我一般喜欢什么东西。
此外,I'd prefer表示则特定的场合下我选择.喜欢或要什么(现在后将来)。
而I prefer 表示我一般喜欢什么。
b)练习用升调或降调问问题
