Identifying English letters

Identifying English letters through listening is important in daily life----filling out forms, taking down abbreviations, and, more often perhaps, jotting down names

and addresses during telephone conversations. Many learners of English might find it difficult to jot down English letters quickly and accurately. This drill offers the students some practice in identifying letters by asking them to write down the letters in some commonly-used English family names.

Directions: It is important to know how to spell some of the family names (surnames or last names) used frequently in English speaking countries. Listen carefully
