well,that man is very understanding .Bruce is very understanding .

an understanding teacher can help his problem students .

we can also say that young man is very understanding ,that's why Mary loves him so much .

that is spelled "considerate" .and also there is another word that means the same ,that's "thoughtful" .that's a good one .
