M：Pretty well．Joe’s going to hold a birthday party on Saturday evening．Would you like to go?
W：I’d like to, but I can’t．I have to work at that time．

W：1 work at McDonald’s．I’m the assistant manager．But 1 want to get a different job．
M：My father’s company will need some people to work for the summer．Some of them might be able to keep their jobs permanently．
W：What Kind of company does he work for?
M：He’s the personnel manager of Jackson and Sons．It is a construction company．
W：That sounds like it might be interesting．Do you know what kind of jobs they have?
M：Well，I don’t know for sure．But I've been told that they need some new people．They plan to hire them in June．They’ll work until September．
W：I’d like to work in your father’s company．Would you help me?
M：Of course．I’ll tell my father that you ale interested in working for his company．Then you can call him and make an appointment to go to talk with him about it．I’ll tell him tomorrow
