At the Repulican Party National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, delegates have been treated to one of the most eagerly awaited speeches of any U.S. polictial convention season. Suprised running-mate of John McCain, Sarah Palin, had launched herself onto the national and DD international stage.
"I had a favorite of living most of my life in a small town. I was just ever talking mom signed up for the PGA. I love you talking moms, you know, they say the difference between "the hockey mom" and "pitball", lipstick. So I signed up for the PGA because I want to make my kids' public education even better. And I runned for city concil, I did need focus groups and vote profiles because I knew those voters, and I knew their families too. Before I became a governer of the great state of Alaska, I was a mayor of my hometown. And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience. Let me explian to them what the job involves. I guess, I guess say small town mayor is a sort of, like "a community organizer" except you have the actual responsibilities."
On Sarah Palin's big day at convention, McCain Campaign has been on the offensive, hitting out what they say is unfair criticism of their vice presidential candidate media after the initial shock of Repulican's choosing of a 44-year-old mother of five with only two years experience as governer of Alaska, one of the smallest state's population wise in the U.S., the paper is under a way have been failed with ball-to-ball stories about Sarah Palin on the quesions about how she will manage her family, a 17-year-old daughter is pregnant and about her youngest child too has down /, and about high political office.
Today, Repulican remained hit-back on h half, remian like U.S. treasure / who likes Sarah Palin, has been a small town mayor and is a mother of down/ child.
"Nobody has questioned Barack Obama 'why is he running?' when he has two children at home. but yet this is fit to us that of woman. I believe we are better than that, I believe Americans are better than that. I believe it that system is no longer tolerated. And I believe that women /absolutely outrage. I am outrage, I am assulted, I am defended. And I know I am represented millions of working women, millions of working mother, millions of women that have children with disabilities. And put the media, and put the blockers, and put the otherside, to even make the comments that they have made; shame on that, shame on all of them."
One of John McCain's advisors put out the statement dismissing stories that before she was selected, Sarah Palin hadn't been vetted thoughly enough. And John McCain, himself, has appeared on ABC world news tonight to defend his choice of running-mate.
