Israel has declared a state of emergency in Jerusalem following a bulldozer attack.
A bulldozer went on a deadly rampage in Jerusalem Wednesday afternoon, killing at least three people and injuring dozens.
The bulldozer slammed into and knocked over a bus with 35 people on board near the old Central Bus Station.
Three Palestinian militant groups have since claimed responsibility for the attack while Israeli police are referring to the attacker as a "terrorist" acting on his own.
Mark Regev is spokesman with the Israeli government.
"What we have seen today in Jerusalem is another act of senseless murderous violence and people who refuse to condemn this sort of deliberate bloodshed expose themselves for what they really are."
The violence marked the first terror attack in Jerusalem since a gunman killed eight students in a religious school in March.
