A group of Chinese tourists that just returned from a group tour to the United States say they are very impressed by their trip to the country.
Members of the returning tour group say they are very much amazed by the beautiful natural sceneries and the orderly cities in the country.
"Washington is the most beautiful city in the country. Las Vagas is the most bustling one. While the climate in Hawaii is very nice."
"People in the US are very polite. This is something that the Chinese people need to learn from."
Though some of the Chinese tourists say certain uncivil acts did exist as they traveled in the country, such as littering of cigarette buts. But these did not affect their overall good impression of the country.
The group's US tour was the first of its kind since a new agreement signed between the US and China, which opened the door for more Chinese citizens to visit the country.
Under a memorandum of understanding signed between China and the US last December, the program of Chinese leisure groups to the U.S. will be carried out in an orderly and gradual manner.
Chinese Tourism authorities say the program will expand to all over China after the pilot project in nine provinces and three municipalities yield positive results.
