China's President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao have met with Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov.
Hu Jintao said Sino-Russian relations have maintained healthy and stable development. He thanked Russia's support on the Taiwan and Tibet issues and said that he appreciates the Russian government and people's concern and help following the Wenchuan earthquake.
Lavrov said Russia hopes both sides will hold more dialogue on issues of strategic security and push forward energy negotiations.
In a separate meeting with Lavrov, Premier Wen Jiabao said he hopes both sides will push forward developments in the areas of economy, trade, energy, infrastructure and culture.
