A string of explosions have hit the southern Pakistani city of Karachi, at least 37 people. Most of them are suffering from small shrapnel wounds.
The six blasts came within about an hour of each other, striking residential and commercial areas in the port city, where political and militant-related violence is common.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
The Sindh province police chief, says it appears 150 to 200 grams of explosives were used in each of the six Karachi blasts enough to create a relatively small blast.
He says the areas that were targeted have large Pashtun populations and the explosions may have been aimed at creating ethnic unrest.
