British truckers protest in London over fuel prices

Hundreds of truckers have headed towards Britain's Parliament to protest the rising cost of fuel.

The drivers say their jobs are in danger, as diesel prices are now one pound thirty a liter.

They say they pay the highest fuel tax of any member state in the EU, and have to compete with hauliers from other EU countries.

Taxes account for most of the price, and demands are growing on the government to lower them.
