Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony for the China-Mongolia Economic Forum in Ulan Bator on Friday.
During the opening ceremony, Xi Jinping said economic and trade cooperation is one of the most important impetuses for promoting bilateral relations.
"The Chinese government encourages established companies to do business in Mongolia, and the government will provide financial, technological and market support. The Chinese government also welcomes more Mongolian companies to come and invest in China."
The Chinese vice president stressed that at present China and Mongolia are enjoying sound economic ties, and that entrepreneurs from both countries should seize the opportunities.
Radnaabazar Rash, Minister of Road, Transport and Tourism agreed with the Xi Jinping, saying that China and Mongolia have great potential for developing mining, agriculture, environmental protection and tourism. And Mongolia welcomes Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in the country.
