New technologies such as wireless supervision, electronic monitoring devices, mobile phone detectors and wireless signal screens have been used nationwide to curb cheating in the exam.

Through the new supervision system, the national Education Examination Authorities in Beijing can monitor the situation in other provinces and regions. Local inspectors can also see every part of a venue in detail and track the examinees' every move.
