With the approaching of the International Children's Day, people from other parts of China are sending their heartfelt blessings to the children in the earthquake-hit areas.
Around ten thousand students in east China's Anhui province held a special sale. What they sold were their own toys, books and stationery.
"I sold my toys and my father's books. I will donate what I earned from the sale to the children in quake-ravaged areas."
Other students living in the countryside picked some homegrown vegetables and fruits. They took a long ride to town and sold them. They have collected over 2,000 US dollars from the sale and all of the donations will be used for disaster relief.
Meanwhile, some young students from a fine art academy in Sichuan made plenty of lovely dolls for the children suffering from the disaster. Here is one of them:
"I am from Sichuan, too. I really want to express my blessings for the children since their festival is approaching. I hope they are healthy and happy."
Children from international schools in Shanghai painted colors on the tents, which are for disaster relief. They hope to express their best wishes for their peers in Sichuan. Here is a boy from the school.
"I hope their schools can be reconstructed as soon as possible so they can return to school soon."
Meanwhile, some performers from Central China's Henan Province performed magic shows for the hospitalized children in Sichuan to relieve their pain.
