The Beijing Olympic torch relay has continued in China's southern island province of Hainan for the second day.
The relay started in Wuzhishan city on Monday morning, where thousands of local citizens lined the streets.
Li Jianghua is an official of the municipal government and also one of the torch bearers.
"Since the successful bid of the Beijing Olympics, we have been waiting for this day. After so many years, we have finally embraced the arrival of the Olympic Flame. So on this day, almost all the citizens in Wu Zhishan are here to the welcome the Beijing Olympic Torch."
The second leg included Wanning city. Zheng Wentai is the city's first torch bearer.
"All the torch bearers are here to accomplish a mission, which is the pursuit of peace and love and to impart the Olympic Spirit."
A total of 208 torchbearers ran the 31-kliometre route that ended at the Merry Festival Square by Wanquan River in Qionghai city.
The Olympic flame has arrived in Haikou, the capital city of Hainan Province, on Monday evening and will be carried through the streets on Tuesday.
From Hainan the flame will be taken to the southern province of Guangdong.
