Scenes in Dujiangyan from airplane

Reporters filmed the scenes in Dujiangyan from an airplane Wednesday afternoon. The city was one of the worst hit in the quake.



The bridge that connects Dujiangyan City and Wenchuan county has partly collapsed.

The hovercraft carrying rescue workers is speeding to Wenchuan.

Alongside the river, many landslides block the road, trapping many buses and cars.

This is Bao-ping-kou, one of the three main sections of the Dujiangyan Water Project. The situation here is good.

This is Dujiangyan city. Most of the buildings are still standing, but some have partly collapsed.

Transportation here is basically normal. There are many tents on the city square.
