Cyclone death toll rises to 34,273 in Myanmar

In Myanmar, the death toll from Cyclone Nargis has risen to over 34,000. Nearly 28,000 people are still missing and over 1,400 have been injured.

The Chinese Red Cross sent nearly 1.5 tons of relief supplies to Yangon on Tuesday which included anti-malaria and antibiotic medicines.

China has already sent three batches of relief supplies to Myanmar under the country's emergency relief aid of 5.3 million US dollars.
