One more body has been recovered from the wreckage of Monday's fatal train crash in eastern China, bringing the death toll to 71. The latest victim may be the train's driver.
Most of the passengers injured in the train collision in Shandong remain in hospital. Scores of medical specialists from other provinces have travelled to Zibo to help. 51 passengers who were seriously injured are now in a stable condition. 53 who suffered slight injuries have been discharged.
Four French victims were taken to Peking Union Medical College Hospital in Beijing. Treating the injured has put a strain on blood supplies in Zibo. Local residents are assisting by donating blood.
