Nancy:Excuse me.Sorry I've been looking at you for the last few minutes.But don't I know you from somewhere?

David:No,no,I don't think so.

Nancy:Really?Are you sure?This is driving me crazy because I never forget a face.Wait a minute,did you grow up in Chicago?

David:Yes I did as the matter of fact.

Nancy:I think we maybe went to the same high school.

Did you by any chance go to Central High?

David:Yes.

Nancy:Do you remember me?I'm Nancy,Nancy Read.I used to sit behind you in our math class.

David:I'm David Michell.Wow,I can't believe you recognise me after all these years.

Nancy:Yeah,this is really a small world.

M:So am I.How are you getting along?

M:Are you busy?

F:No,I'm free.

M:Where are you going?

F:I'm going shopping.

M:No,I must go to the wharf now.

F:What is the matter?

M:I'm going to meet a friend who is coming from Singapore.

F:Who is he?

M:He is my old schoolmate.If you don't mind,I'll introduce him to you.

F:I shall be very pleased to meet him.

M:Then you had better come to my house tomorrow.

M:No,I've been up north for a month.

F:Where was that?

M:Cusco.I got back the day before yesterday.
