On the issue of the recent confrontation between U.S. and Iranian ships in the Strait of Hormuz, US President Bush has described Iran's act as provocative.
He warns Tehran there will be serious consequences if Iran attacks U.S. ships in the Gulf region.
But Iranian Parliament Speaker Gholam Ali Haddad Adel has called U.S. accusations as a psychological and propaganda campaign.
Iranian media has quoted an official of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps as saying the US released video of the incident is archive footage and the audio is fake.
But State TV did not give the name of the Revolutionary Guard figure and did not offer evidence that the footage was fabricated.
The U.S. Pentagon said earlier this week that five Iranian boats had harassed and threatened three U.S. Navy warships in international waters in the Strait of Hormuz.
Bush administration officials immediately warned Iran to refrain from taking provocative actions that could lead to a dangerous incident in the future.
But Iran responded by calling the incident something normal and said the incident has been resolved.
