On New Year's Eve, China's first lunar probe, Chang'e-1, sent back its New Year's greetings.
The new year has come, let all of us sing a merry song for our happy lives.
Chang'e-1 also carried two Chinese folk songs, The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and The Never-Setting Sun Rises Over the Prairie.
Pei Zhaoyu, spokesman for the China National Aerospace Bureau, said Chang'e-1 continues to perform well.
Up until now, Chang'e-1 has been operating smoothly. We have obtained a considerable amount of scientific research statistics through this lunar probe, and we have also reached some basic scientific conclusions based on the study of these statistics.
To date, Chang'e-1 has sent back statistics covering the landforms and mineral elements of part of the moon's surface.
