China Securities Regulatory Commission has allowed new investment funds to resume trading on Thursday after a suspension of five months.

But compared to former hot demand for the investment option, initial interest has proved cool.

Some analusts have said that investors are still cautious with a wait-and-see attitude because trade volumes have not matched rising prices.
