The Ministry of Commerce said food prices have been stable during the lunar New Year holiday last week.
Market data show that average prices of popular vegetables have fallen by nearly three percent during the holiday. Wholesale prices have went down as well.

''The prices for several key vegetables have dropped, such as for cucumbers and green peppers. Some vegetable prices went down by half, or were reduced by 40 percent.''
Meanwhile, prices for meat, eggs, rice and flour have also been floating within a reasonable range.
