A major fire tore through London's famous Camden market late on Saturday, ripping through market stalls and partially consuming an iconic pub.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
Guy Foster, a fire brigade spokesman said his crew are making their utmost efforts to bring the fire under control.
About 100 firefighters dealing with the fire, they've surrounded the market area and they have about 10 to 15 jets of water played onto that at the moment. I think with this type of premises it is unlikely not to have gas cylinders round here, the markets do use cylinders and we have to be very wary of that for our own crews' safety but also for the public's safety as well.
So far, the cause of the fire is still unclear.
The culturally vibrant Camden area has six open-air and indoor markets, which are popular with tourists and residents, selling everything from handmade soaps to second hand clothing.
