Every country has forune-tellers-people who say that they can see into a person's future. However, they do not all work in the same way.
In some countries, fortune-tellers,look at a person's hand. There are lins
across the hand, and lins down the hand. These lines are different for everyone.
Some longh and some short. Each of the lins means something.One lins tells a
fortune-teller if and when a person will marry. Another line tells the forune-teller how long that person will live. Other lines tell the foetune-teller other things.
Some fortune-teller'read' cards. These cards are either playing cards or the Tarot cards. Some peple say they can tell a lot about a person's future life by looking at the cards.
Many Chiness use the I Ching, or Book of Changes, to fing out about their futures. First the person asks a question then throws some coins and looks at the way they fall. Then the person reads the I Ching to find out that the coins mean.
