(CCTV 07-19-2008 14:00)--There's been another fire in Shanghai's Fengxian District. The blaze broke out on Friday at a glass-fibre reinforced plastic research institute just one day after a huge blaze killed three fire fighters in a factory in the same area.
No one was injured in Friday's blaze, which started in two wind-driven engines in the waste yard and quickly spread to chemicals, including paints, stored nearby.
Workers used forklifts to move blazing material, and fire fighters drew water from the nearby river to bring the blaze under control.
Meanwhile, Shanghai's fire control department is investigating Thursday's deadly fire. Some local residents say the failure of an automatic fire extinguisher was the main reason the fire spread so quickly.
