HAMI, July 12 (Xinhua)-- Primary and secondary school students from ethnic groups in Hami, northwestern China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, received Olympic readers as gifts on Friday.
The Olympic readers, published by the Ethnic Publishing House, dispense Olympic knowledge in ethnic languages such as Uygur, Kazakh and Mongolian.
Children from ethnic groups in other parts of Xinjiang, especially the remote mountainous areas, will also be presented with the Olympic books.
