The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Information Industry yesterday announced the new domestic roaming call charges for mobile phones.
From March 1,users will be charged 0.6 yuan a minute for making calls and 0.4 yuan for receiving them,respresenting an average price cut of 63 percent.
Most of Chona's 539 million mobile subscribers pay between 33 and 50 percent more for calls made or received on their cell phones when they travel to another province.
