昨天早上真是惨透了。早早从床上爬起来，飞快地洗漱完毕，在学校饭堂吞了早餐就上了去罗湖的公交，到深圳书城上班。不知为什么上车前觉得挺热的，于是也没穿什么长袖衣服，居然穿了短袖短裤。等一下车时，迎面一阵寒风吹来，我禁不住瑟瑟发抖，心里在嘀咕怎么突然变冷了。本以为书城里面是个避难所，谁知道进了办公室，里面的空调开得超大，我想室内气温可能只有15度了。我一进去比在外面还冷！

但是我还是自我安慰，告诉自己没事的，关了空调不就行了，于是我左找右找空调的开关，可是就是找不到，问别的老师他们也说不清楚，一向是那位清洁办公室的阿婶开的。可是那位阿婶已经不知哪去了。

我环视了一下办公室，全世界都穿了两件以上的长袖衣，只有我这位“末路英雄”还是这么潇洒。郑信达还跟我开玩笑说：“小琪，不要紧的。你不是经常跑步吗？现在正是检验你跑步成效的好时候。要是一个上午下来你都不感冒了说明有效啦！”我听了差点晕了过去。我就说：“听说你也经常健身啊，不如把你的衣服给我了，你检验一下你的成效啊！”说完我就要过去脱他的外衣，他拼命挣扎，还拼命叫强奸，两个扭在一起了，弄得别的老师在哈哈大笑，说我在强奸他。我像是这样的人吗？天啊！

幸好最后机灵，打了个电话给一个学生，叫他帮我带件外衣过来。不然真的会被活活冻死了。

另外还有一个惊喜的发现，我发现书城新来了一个员工，和他聊了一下，他居然是准备毕业的外国语学院的一个师兄。原来是校友！他也想不到我也是深大的。好了，以后终于有个同校的人聊天了。哈哈！

前晚连夜赶工，终于把发给我的所有的学生的文章改了，感觉他们在我的“高压政策”下比开学时进步了很多，我也感到很欣慰。有几篇真的写得非常不错。希望大家继续努力！

下面是在一位高中同学改的一篇文章：

Young people tend to think that real life should be as dramatic and fascinating as it is in novels and movies , while more experienced adults disagree. they argue that every one should learn to get used to tedious daily life . However, I think we cannot lean on one side partially. To my mind, Realism is unavoidable, while idealism needs to be added to spice our life and balance ourselves.

To illustrate my point, firstly , Let’s look back on the world-famous novels in history . Some of them are prominent due to its truly revealing a certain historical period, among which “Uncle Tom’s cabin”, “Oliver Twist” are two typical examples. But some masterpieces are glowing because of its romantic content, among which “The Scarlet letter, “Gone with the wind” outstands. Hence we cannot simply assert realism or romance is superior to the other. We need both of them to season our life!

Actually, we cannot go without any of these two elements. Suppose if we are holding a realistic attitude towards everything around us, then we may feel negative and pessimistic about everything. We may just focus on our material needs and our own profits. We may become extremely rational all the time, so much so that we are too emotionless to even glimpse at those beyond our own benefits. We may eat to eat, drink to drink and live to live. Every action we take is practically useful to solve the present problems. Except for dealing with realistic matters, we will never do any other thing to please ourselves and the people around including our friends and families. All festivals seem meaningless to us, not to mention celebrating them! How tedious and boring such kind of life is! And those living with you also have to live such a miserable life!

Now let’s move to another extreme case. Suppose you are romantic all the time instead of being realistic. Then you will always think all the things in your life to be moving into the idealest direction and become too optimistic about everything. You like to arrange your life delicately and draw a splendid picture to every day. In other words, you want your life to be full of excitement and stimulation, just like the kind of life in novels or movies, in which you can go through a lot of twists and turns with you life, your work and your love, then ultimately reach a perfect ending! You are always trying to distinguish your life from others’ and turn it into the most emotion-stricken one. Then what you do may steer clear of reality and be irrational. The worst result is that you cannot tell reality from dream and have a poor capability to deal with practical issues both in your work and life! Needless to say, you life will finally turn out to be a tragedy.

Altogether, from my viewpoint, I strongly disagree with those people who merely emphasize the importance of one of the two factors. We desperately need to blend both realism and romance to color our life!
