外企面试系列（二）——个人信息和家庭情况
面试开场白之后，面试官就会对简历内容或者就个人和家庭情况进行询问。今天我们就一起先来看一些常用问题：
常用句型：
lQ: Where is your birthplace?
A: I was born in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
《白领英语900句》：Birthplace是出生地，相对应的还有籍贯native place，户籍所在地：domicile place。
lQ: Do you live with your parents?
A: Yes, I moved back in with my parents after I discovered that more than half my net income was being used to pay for rent and utilities. We have an economic arrangement that allows me to save for my future, while I’m around to help them maintain our home. We all benefit, and we have been able to develop a strong friendship as three adults.
《白领英语900句》：这些问题你可以如实回答，不要因为自己是成年人了还吃用父母的感到没面子，注意在你回答的时候要表现出你在家里所负起的责任和经济的独立性，而不是社会上所说的“啃老”一族。
lQ: How far do you live from this company?
A1: I clocked it on my way here today. I'm exactly 10 miles door-to-door, and it took me 17 minutes to get here. A breeze.

《白领英语900句》：大家要注意这个问题，这个话题比较难处理。因为有可能你面对的面试官是一个信奉：“Work is not only the way to make a living, it’s the way to make a life.以工作为中心的人.但是也有可能碰到的是以家庭为重的面试官.因此回答之前，你可以扫下办公室周围是否有家庭照片类似这些东西。以上是最常见的回答作为大家参考，大家可以根据现场做灵活处理。

除此之外，还有很多词，比如：

因此面试开场白之后的问题通常是个人信息和家庭情况这些最固定也是最基本的问题，不要小看这些问题。你的第一印象也就在这几个来来回回的问答之中体现出来。而有经验的面试官从中发现你对某些问题的态度你的性格等等。而回答这些问题最重要的就是忠于事实，在回答时适当体现出你的责任心，诚意，成熟的态度，工作的能力。注意英语表达方式，大家要研读以上所列举的回答样例，注意口气的委婉，用词的方式。

Q: Are you a resident of Beijing now?
A: Yes. I have been living in Beijing since my childhood.
Q: How large is your family?
A: There are four of us including my parents, a younger sister and me.
Q: Your application form said that you have a younger sister. How do you get along with each other?
A: We get along well with each other. She is 6 years younger than me, and she is right now studying for college entrance exams. She asks me a lot for advice on how to study and things like that. Besides, we do many things together, such as going swimming, mountain climbing and soon.
Q: Do you have a valid driver’s license?
A: No, but if this job requires someone who drives, I would apply for a license as soon as possible.
